I don't know why some shows have hundreds of thousands of views and others only thousands or hundreds. This show clearly deserves a wider following.
Maybe ... its cus Jack Straw opens with hallucagenic distortion ( which also happens very briefly on Terrapin), however that evaporates fast and from Tenessee Jed on, the sound is all you want or need it to be.
Jerry's inimitable guitar songs just sparkle and shine, from Althea to Terrapin to Johnny B Good. His voice is in fab form, on both sad songs and celebratory tunes, He's Gone and Black Peter as well as Althea and US Blues, respectively.
Bob is Bob and don't we all love him for it? His rythym drives the train, along with Phil, and his voice never sounded better on such fan favorites as CC Rider, Playing in the Band, Around & Around.
Brent's keys also sparkle and shine, and his back up harmonies are spot on, in songs such as Terrapin, and Johhny B Good.
The drums, OMG the drums. The drum set and space jam are too short, but they kill it. Real nice on Let It Grow. Super tight all night.
And good all Phil. He doesn't sing tonight, except maybe in grouip songs, but that bass of his just pulses the tunes.
All in all, I'd say a good time was had by all. I certainly enjoyed my listen and hope you do, too.
